Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that part. Carlos recently became obsessed with crossing his fingers (as shown above, although usually not while picking his nose) and simultaneously began to exhibit a keen interest in banana slugs, so we've dubbed the fingers-crossed pose 'two banana slugs hugging', which he thinks is hilarious.
That looks like, hmmm, maybe 2 banana slugs hugging?
