I love the first ring! The texture really bring out the beauty of the stone.

Well... I still prefer not to but if it's a smaller stone and the customer is aware that there is always some risk, and willing to accept that risk themselves, I occasionally make an exception. More often though, I do semi mount rings and then the customer takes that to their local jeweler to have the stone set.
