In Progress

In case anyone is interested, I'm making some progress (finally) on a 'real' website (more than just a blog) - care to take a peek? There's a lot of new information there that I'm really excited about, including a page listing all of the fair trade stones I have access to (with pictures!), as well as a list of fair trade birthstone options. It's still a bit rough - the big ring on the front page will hopefully be replaced by a slideshow of maybe a dozen different rings, and I know there are a few broken links and plenty of missing pictures, but you can get the general idea. Let me know what you think!

You always have to be the "better" sibling, don't you?

You got it - now that you finally have a blog, I had to one-up you. Besides, isn't it obvious who the better sibling is? Duh.

I like it. I like the link to Flicker to see all your past work (I tried to find every item I ever purchased from you!) Mostly, I liked how you explained your social and environmental views as the foundation to your business practices. If I hadn't already been a committed customer, you would have sold me fast with that write-up. Nice clean, pretty look on the homepage too.

Thanks Rebecca!

Does this mean you won't be going to the gem shows with me anymore :)

Probably, Roni... I don't think there are any fair trade vendors there. But we can still go to Maggie Mudd's!

Hi Tamara :)

I totally agree with winterskeeper - if I hadn't already been a committed customer, you would have sold me fast with that write-up. Really well written, and lovely website!

Great minds think alike, I've been working on and off (mainly 'off' lately however) on creating a website as well, if you want to take a peek, feel free :)

Keep up the great work! You're an inspiration to me and so many others!
