Where to begin?

I have a lot to catch up on, and a lot of pictures to post - I'm not sure where to start, so I guess I will just have to dive right in. A few days ago I went to a local rock shop and got some very pretty cabs for ring making...

Large amethyst cabochon - this is going to make an amazing ring! Can't wait to use it...

Pretty little faceted garnet cab

Two more rubies

I also received some round labradorite cabs in the mail last week, for making more rings like these (my favorite!!!)...

17mm labradorite cab

18mm labradorite cab

20mm labradorite cab

If you're interested in having me make you a custom ring from any of the stones shown above, email me! I'm a little behind so you might have to wait for a week or so, but I'd love to line up some more orders (it's always easier to make just the right ring for you, in the right size, with the stone you fell in love with, than to try to find another stone like it later...)

Do you still have the opal with the pink dinosaur-egg-ish outside and yellow center? That stone is so beautiful. If it's available, what would a ring with that stone cost?

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your earlier inquiry about that stone! I have actually set it in a ring already but when I did, it got a small crack and chip in it (opal is very soft and not the greatest stone to work with for rings, I'm learning). Anyways, the stone is not actually broken, there doesn't seem to be any movement of separate pieces or anything like that, it feels very secure, but if you look really closely you can see the crack/chip, so I wasn't really planning on selling it... if you (or anyone else) are interested though, I would sell it very cheap just to recover my materials cost basically - something like $30 I guess? I think it's around a size 6 or 7 but am not 100% sure - if you're interested let me know and I'll check on the size.

Definitely still interested. Do you think it would be noticeable to anyone other than the wearer (as in someone I was talking to)? Also, how big is the stone itself? I have fairly small hands so I want to make sure it's not so wide or long that it would be awkward. I'm not sure what size my finger would be. I only know my ring finger. I'll see if I can find a ring sizer online. Email me at vivaciousvegan at gmail dot com. Thanks!
