I love Blossom.

Blossom is the coolest turkey ever. She is so sweet and sociable; she truly enjoys being around people, and is curious about the world around her. Today she was really enjoying hanging out with me in the warm sun. I got a bunch of good pictures of her, and I thought about spacing them all out into a bunch of separate 'Turkey Pic of the Day' posts, but I'm too lazy, so you're getting them all at once. Enjoy!

She's showing off to you; she probably thinks you might make a good mate. :)

A couple of our turkeys are propositioning us daily, even with the three male turkeys around. They love having their backs scratched, though I think they leave the encounter rather unfulfilled.

Yes, I would say that she has been acting flirtatious! Actually, she's kind of been that way all along. She seems to like having her neck scratched more than her back...

I love the 3rd photo the most, where she seems to be loving the feel of the sun on her face. And it's so cute how she seems to have a haughty expression in the 5th photo! And then the last one when she's showing off what a sexy turkey she is... hehe... great!

I know, that one where she's basking in the sun is my favorite. She was doing that a lot that day. Makes it even more impossible for me to understand how some people can still think that animals don't have feelings. She was SO obviously just enjoying the feel of the sun on her body.
