{Drum Roll Please...}

Okay, before I unveil my new tattoo and announce the winner of this month's contest, I have to say, c'mon guys, what's up? I only got nine guesses, compared with 23 entries last month! Maybe it's because I excluded friends and family this time, or maybe you're all more shy than I give you credit for, and actually asking for a little more interaction sent you to your scary place. Whatever the reason, the good news for those of you who did enter is that your odds went way up this month! :-)

I probably should have waited a few more days to post because it's still a little pink, but I am excited and want to show it off. At least it's not crusty anymore.

As you can see, I got the word 'vegan' tattooed on my wrist in white ink with some pretty swirlies above and below. Do you like it? I do. It has several spots that need to be touched up and filled in with more ink, which is pretty typical with white ink, I guess. So lucky me, I get to go in again in a week and get all scabby again. Yay!

So now what you've really all been waiting for... I have decided to award the $25 gift certificate to chinababe2004. Three people guessed the word 'vegan,' but only chinababe2004 included the idea of it having some kind of design around it, which it does, and I wanted people to give specific little details like that. So chinababe, email me and let me know what you'd like to use your credit on! Congratulations, and thanks to everyone for playing my silly little game.

I love that Tamara! Probably the classiest Vegan tattoo I've seen.

The white ink is awesome!

Very pretty script! Why on the wrist? Just curious!

I'm not sure why the wrist... I've never wanted a tattoo in an easily visible spot before (my only other one is on my lower back) but then I saw someone's white ink tattoo and I loved it and decided if it was subtle like that, I'd actually like it to be in a spot where I, and everyone else, could see it all the time. :-) Plus, it's just something I am SO passionate about, I guess the topic just seemed worthy of sharing with the world.

Mhm, looks very nice! A statement, but really pretty.

I guess I felt that I don't know you well enough to be able to guess, and am far to selfconcious to guess if I'm not pretty sure I'll get it at least partially right.

Oh, and I just wanted to say that I do read your food and family posts, too, not just the ones about the beads :)

Cheers,
Lotta

How awesome!! I love your new tattoo. I agree it's definitely very classy and I like that it's in a place for everyone to see. I have a tattoo on my hip and even I forget it's there most of the time...

Yes, I'm a lame-o for not guessing. I actually meant to, really. But I would have been wrong anyways because I was going to guess something nature-inspired. Definitely keep the contest's interactive though, makes it more challenging!

Okay, I must force myself now from not going out and getting a vegan tattoo just like yours!

Hi, Tamara.

How cool that I'm your winner! Thank you! Your tattoo is very pretty and so meaningful, too. I really love it.

I e-mailed you a few days ago regarding an order I'd like to make. Please let me know if you didn't receive it. E-mail can be wacky sometimes!

Thank you again, and I'll talk to you soon.
