Party Time

Tonight I'm having an open house jewelry and bead sale at my mom's house. We've invited lots and lots of people and I hope some show up! I'm donating 10% of tonight's sales to WINGS Guatemala, a very deserving charity dedicated to providing quality reproductive healthcare for every Guatemalan.

I created this Queen of Bling necklace yesterday to wear to the party tonight. It's made of sterling silver chain, a few smoky quartz rondelles, and a fabulous vintage rhinestone earring, which now serves as a pendant. Thare were two earrings, so I can make two of these necklaces... one is for me but the other could be yours!

Last night I made Insomniac Chef's Spicy Sweet Potato and Cabbage Curry and it was delicious! I highly recommend it if you like curry.

And last but not least, happy birthday to my sweet grandma Lillie Mae.

That's a beautiful pendant. Hope your party goes well tonight.
I absolutely love the birthday greeting and photo for your grandma--my Mommy! Are you planning on showing her the post tonight? I'm sure she'd like that.
Love, Judy
